« Personalized Golf Balls: Gift Sure To Please For Any Golfer   Choosing the Correct Golf Club »

by B. Swanson

The most often used club for any golfer is a putter. This is because statistics have shown that golfers spend at least 40% of each golf game time on the greenwhere only the putter is used. For this reason, it is necessary for every avid golf player to purchase a first-rate putter. Every golfer needs to have a club that will increase their putting performance.

However, not all golfers can afford to spend hundreds of dollars on one golf club. Sure, there are a lot of wealthy golfers out there, people who belong to country clubs and who have enough money in the bank or in their wallets to buy any club they would like. Not every golfer can come up with the money for this, though. Luckily, there are discount golf clubs-including Bionik putters-that work just as well as (if not better than) the pricey clubs.

This year Bionik released a new series of putters-their 500 series of Bionik putters. Bionik has been on the golf marketplace for a few years now, but this is their best club series yet. The 500 series is extremely affordable, for one-prices for the clubs start at less than $30; prices for the clubheads run for less than $15. Low price isn’t the only hot feature of these Bionik putters, though. These clubs deliver state-of-the-art style and performance in a package that looks as if it costs ten times the price.

Because there are five distinctive designs in the 500 series of the Bionik putters, there is certain to be a style for every golfer. Here are the different types available: Bionik 501: This club is a semi-mallet type. Golfers who prefer a clean look address will like this club, as it has subdued dual red alignment marks. This Bionik has heel and toe step to help improve accuracy and is available in both right- and left-handed versions. The weight of the head of this model is 355g.

Bionik 502: This Bionik is also available for both right- and left-handed golfers. The 502 is another semi-mallet, but this one is heel-shafted so as to give a little help with those off-center shots. Bright red trapezoid-shaped insert frames work to help you align the ball with the top sight line. A lighter club, the head of this weighs just 330g. 502 Bionik putters are available for right- or left-handed putting.

Bionik 503: These Bionik putters have a full mallet design. Like the 502 Bionik, there are trapezoidal shapes to help you align the ball. There is emphasis on the rear weight in this model that has traditional offset configuration. Available in right- and left-handed versions, the head of the 503 weighs 355g.

Bionik 504: The 504 model is a heel-shafted mallet style with a lightweight head that weighs only 335g. These Bionik putters offer the boldest and brightest red insert trapezoids out of all of the styles in the 500 series. This model is available in both right- and left-handed versions.

Bionik 505: This is the only model in the 500 series that is not available for left-handed putting. It is also the heaviest, with a head weight of 360g. The 505 has the trapezoidal shapes that several of the other models in the 500 series have; however, this style has a hollow-bodied design.

Don’t make the mistake of assuming that discount golf clubs are inferior to other, pricier clubs just because of their cost. Bionik putters are among the best in the entire golf business. Many longtime golfers likely wouldn’t even realize that the club you have is a discount model because the zinc along with the black and red accents looks so high-quality!

It isn’t looks that really matters in golf, though-it’s performance. Golfers can trust that Bionik putters deliver on this aspect from the very first putt. Any golfer’s game will develop in many ways upon beginning to use a Bionik putter. Sinking putts quickly will become quite easy and accuracy will be greatly improved.
