If you know anything about golf, then you know that in order to hit the target you are aiming for there are many components that go into the swing. One thing that is completely necessary to help you hit your target is to get some very good alignment tips. If you are not aligned correctly at your target, then you will never stand a chance when it comes to hitting your actual target. This means that you will miss a lot of fairways and greens. Here is what you should know about aligning properly.

Short Game, Short Game, Short Game One of the things that most higher handicap golfers forget about is their short game. They go to the driving range and hit a few iron shots, a few wedges, and as soon as they feel loose it is onto the driver. Sure it is very important to get off the tee and get into the fairway or at least keep the ball in play, but the place that allows you to score is form 40 yards and in. If you can get up and down for pars and bogies more often you will drop your scores considerably. You should spend about 75% of your practice time on the short game.

Getting off the Tee The second most important part of golf is to get off the tee. The best golf tips will all include some tips on how to get off the tee and put yourself in a better position to score. One thing that most high handicap golfers do not realize is that they do not have to hit driver off the tee.

These work great for getting your feet and your shoulders correctly aligned with the target. Another great one of the alignment tips is to use the sticks on the ground about a foot apart. Then, you can put the ball in between them and practice lining up the clubface perpendicular to them, which will help to teach you the proper way to align the club face when you are hitting a shot.

The second one of the chipping tips is to practice this shot over and over again. When you are first working on getting the basic set up and the basic stroke down you should see the ball pop up off the ground only a little bit and run towards your target. Once you get a feel for the set up and the stroke you will want to practice to many different targets to get a feel for the speed of the shot and how much it will roll out for you.

The last of the chipping tips is to press your hands forward and make sure the hands lead the shot all the way through. One way you can do this and get better at it is to take one of the fiber glass sticks that you see others with at the range all the time (usually orange or yellow) and put it in the end of your club through the hole in the grip. Then, hold that on the front of your body and do not let it smack you in your side. This will help you to hit a more firm and proper chip shot.
