« The TaylorMade r7 460 – It May Be What You’re Looking For TaylorMade r7 460: It Might Be the Break You’ve Been Looking For »
Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, TaylorMade came out with another amazing golf club. The TaylorMade r7 460 is packed full of the ultimate of TaylorMade technology. The r7 460 is also known as the r7 460 SuperQuad. TaylorMade gave the driver this name due to its massive 460cc club head.
The massive club head of the r7 460 was designed using TaylorMade’s Inverted Cone Technology (ITC). The Inverted Cone Technology produces a very high MOI (Motion of Inertia) which exceeds 5800 (USGA conforming). The massive club face area makes this driver exceptionally easy to launch on a high and strong trajectory.
The r7 460 has a club head specially designed using TaylorMade’s Ultra-Thin-Wall technology. This special feature allows the club head to be up to 25 percent thinner than most club heads, saving critical weight space. The saved weight space is then used by yet another amazing feature of the r7 SuperQuad called Moveable Weight Technology.
TaylorMade’s (MWT) Moveable Weight Technology has completely changed the way golf clubs are made. This important aspect of the r7 460 allows a golfer to move or redistribute weights along various ports located on the club head, thus changing its launch conditions. The changing of the launch systems is what TaylorMade calls TaylorMade Launch Control (TLC). The TLC system of the r7 460 consists of 26 grams of moveable weight that can be taken out and redistributed according to a golfers individual needs.
The TaylorMade r7 460 includes two 12 gram weights and two 1 gram weights. These weights also known as TLC cartridges can be removed and placed in the four different TLC ports located on the sole of the club head.
When the TLC cartridges are configured correctly a player can count on increased speed, and longer straighter drives. The TLC system of the TaylorMade r7 460 basically allows the player to customize his launch to suit his or her performance needs.
The TaylorMade r7 460’s RE*AX Shaft by Fujikura, helps to reduce ovaling in the mid section. This allows for greater stability, consistency, and increased club speed. This incredibly designed shaft literally helps you to get a handle on your game.
All of the unique features that are included in the r7 460 make the driver stand far above all others. The TaylorMade r7 460 SuperQuad most definitely lives up to its name in design and performance. If you are a golfer who is serious about improving your golf game, the TaylorMade r7 460 may just be the break you’re looking for.
