by Charles Davis

Golf trips can be difficult to organize, especially when you are doing it in a city you don’t really know. Of course it will be a great time once everything is organized, however it’s can really be difficult to coordinate all the plans with the players involved. Anything from tee time to a hotel room that everyone will agree on is quite a daunting task. Therefore, this article will try to relieve some of the pressure and give you some good tips.

One thing that will make the process easier is to create equal groups of four, if possible. It’s also a good idea to have a couple of back ups or reserves in case people can’t come at the last minute. It is important to have everybody on the same page, so explain all the details to everyone all at the same time and make sure everyone understands what needs to be done to ensure that they go on the trip.

The next thing you need to do is pick a time of year. The key here is planning the trip way in advance. This gives everyone time to clear their schedule or not book anything else during these periods of time. 6-9 months is usually a sufficient amount of time to do this.

Once you have the time of year, you can begin looking into specific places to stay. Although you are on a golfing trip, keep in mind that the main strip of Vegas and it’s glittering lights and gambling will attract some attention from your fellow golfers. Make sure that you’re staying in a place that is nice and convenient for golfing and the local attractions of the city.

Of course you can’t forget about the cost of the trip. Most people will have a price range or a maximum amount that they don’t want to go over. It is important to once again make sure that all fellow golfers can agree on a cost that they are willing to pay for the trip. People have different financial situations and the planner needs to recognize that so that they aren’t giving any hardships to their fellow golfers. If it seems there is one person holding the group back because of financial obligations, it might be wise to either use a reserve golfer or raise funds for that individual to go.

After all that is decided a great tip is to go online and use one of the websites that put vacation deals together. You can compare airline, hotel, and golf costs between the different packages. Also check with travel agents as many times they will have deals of their own.

Make sure that you stay in contact with everyone going on the trip. Keep e-mailing everyone and reminding them of the place, date, and time. Make sure everyone is happy and agrees with all of the details and you will be well on your way.

Planning a group golf vacation to Las Vegas can be tiring and frustrating. However, if you follow these simple tips, the planning part should be easy. This will allow you to be more confident that you will have a great trip.
